Why we're doing this

Hope Edu is a University of North Texas student project raising funds for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) — a global nonprofit that helps refugees and families whose lives have been shattered by war, conflict, and disaster.

By the end of 2024, more than 122 million people had been forced from their homes. Our goal is modest — just $800 — but every gift goes directly through GoFundMe to provide emergency aid, medical care, education, and a chance at a new beginning. Will you help us get there?
